We look forward to welcoming you to our Shenandoah Valley B&B
From the moment you turn into our driveway, you’ll know that our Shenandoah Valley B&B is someplace special. As you wind down the lane towards Fox Hill, you’ll see horses grazing nearby and rolling hills all around. Walk up the steps to our home, turn around and gaze at our mountain vista. Allow yourself to exhale and leave your everyday troubles behind for a few days.
Our screened-in front porch overlooking rolling pastures and the blue ridge in the distance invites a relaxing morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. The front door opens to a spacious, high ceiling dining room with a large field stone fireplace. Our common areas include the front porch, the dining room with two wingback chairs to sit in front of the fire on a chilly morning, or the spacious back deck where we typically serve breakfast (weather permitting). Innkeepers, Julie and Charlie, look forward to welcoming you and making your Fox Hill B&B experience one to remember. If you have any questions, feel free to call us and we can answer your questions personally.
Our property has 38 acres with a mowed walking trail – great for a stroll, or romping with your favorite 4 legged companion. You might enjoy visiting with the horses, feeding our chickens or feeding the fish in the pond. Many guests also enjoy finding a secluded chair under a pine tree, or relaxing in the hammock with a favorite book. We have a grill and picnic area for the use of all guests and because we do not serve dinner, you are welcome to use our common dining areas for a take-away meal from a local restaurant.
We serve a homemade, fresh breakfast prepared with as many local ingredients as possible. For more information on our amenities and the features of each guest suite, please visit our Guest Suites page.
We are perfectly located between Lexington, Staunton, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are many restaurants and great shops to be found in Lexington and Staunton. Additionally, there are numerous activities within a short drive from Fox Hill such as one-of-a kind shops, antique stores, breweries and wineries. Of course there is great hiking to be found off the Blue Ridge Parkway. To find out more, go to The Activity Guides page.
