Typically, we serve our homemade country-style breakfast outdoors on the deck shaded by our Virginia plum tree. It is great fun to dine while watching the hummingbirds flitting about and listening to the sounds of nature. Even as the weather cools, outdoor service is possible with our 3 propane heaters. Breakfast service is offered between 8:30 and 9:00.
Our homemade country-style breakfast is prepared using fresh eggs (produced by our hens), fruits, vegetables and herbs from our garden when in season and using as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. Your breakfast could begin with freshly ground French pressed coffee and juice or cider. Each breakfast includes a fresh fruit cup and a warm homemade muffin or donut. Each morning we offer a choice of a sweet or savory breakfast entree. These choices are changed each day. Entrees include classic favorites such as omelets made to order, blueberry pancakes with Virginia maple syrup, or a 3 grain waffle with fresh fruit. Some of our specialties include Eggs Benedict, cinnamon raisin French toast, and a sweet Italian sausage frittata. One of our guests’ favorites is our bacon flavored with Back Creek Farm bourbon maple syrup.

The menu changes daily and includes seasonal fresh fruits and berries; homemade breakfast cakes, muffins, or scones; triple-berry stuffed French toast, Garden vegetable egg bake, Ricotta Cheese Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Shakshuka (Eggs in Purgatory), Vegetable Quiches, Gazpacho and Chef’s choice.
